The Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management provides administrative leadership and direction for student recruitment and supports student enrollment. The AVC will assist with the development and implementation of strategy to grow enrollment. The AVC will create and implement plans to support enrolling new students and retaining current students though service, technology and innovation. The AVC will partner with other departments on campus and in the community to support and enhance student enrollment.

• Assists with developing, refining, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating an integrated recruitment and enrollment system that emphasizes data based decision making.
o Works with others in the office and across campus to develop and support recruitment and retention strategies to grow enrollment.
• Provides leadership for registrar office including review of student records, identifying areas for retention, evaluating courses/enrollment levels, and awarding of degrees.
o Assists with Veterans as needed to ensure support for students and to maintain status as a top ranked university for Veterans.
• Collaborates regularly with others across campus, including academic departments, marketing, business services, student life, and international programs to link new student enrollment to persistence.
o Manages on-line academic catalog in partnership with academic governance.
o Works with faculty athletic representative and registrar to review student records and verify eligibility for Division I rosters.
• Works with others on campus to ensure student success through degree audits, course planning and implementation of technology to assists students and faculty.
o Reviews student records, financial records and profile data to help retain students though intervention and communication strategies.
o Works with graduate program directors to recruit prospective graduate students. Visits schools, community events and employers to provide graduate school information.
• Develops plans to recruit, admit, and enroll international students. Works closely with international student office to increase international student enrollment for degree seeking and exchange students.
• Assists with special events for recruitment and retention efforts for prospective students and current students both on and off campus. Partners with admissions and communication team members to develop communication strategies to grow enrollment. Assists with student graduation and degree audits to enhance student satisfaction
o Serves on cabinet and other committees as needed to represent enrollment services.
o Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 3 years of related experience, or bachelors’ degree and 5 years related experience. A good driving record, valid driver’s license and a successful background check are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in admissions, public relation’s, sales experience or another student personnel area desired. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in college admissions, records and/or financial aid. Prefer candidates with experience in Banner and Slate systems.
