Keep up with Dorchester Emergency Management on Facebook and Twitter

SUMMERVILLE, SC – July 2, 2012 – The Dorchester County Emergency Management Department is now utilizing Facebook and Twitter to share information regarding emergency preparedness and individual readiness, as well as emergency information during natural and man-made hazards.
Emergency Management participates in a number of national and state awareness campaigns through-out the year, including South Carolina Severe Weather Awareness Week in the spring. Twitter and Facebook will help promote the awareness campaigns and provide relevant information related to pre-paredness measures for the various hazards affecting Dorchester County.
