Laurens Police Department Welcomes Sgt. Anderson

Laurens Police Chief Grounsell and the Laurens Police Department (LPD) have welcomed another new member to the team.

Already a decorated officer, Sgt. Dominique Anderson is a prior Rookie of the Year and has received multiple commendations during his career. Anderson is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. Anderson is a certified Class 1 Law Enforcement Officer with 6 years of law enforcement experience. His experience and leadership will be an asset to the LPD as he joins the uniform patrol division.

Sgt. Anderson is a former College baseball athlete, is an avid fitness enthusiast and is also a family man and father of 3. LPD and the community welcome Sgt. Anderson to the team.
