Make-A-Wish® South Carolina Will Celebrate 30 Years of Granting Wishes at the 2015 Wish Ball
May 6, 2015olumbia, South Carolina (May 4, 2015) – Make-A-Wish® South Carolina will host The Wish Ball on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at the South Carolina State Museum. The gala celebrates the Make-A-Wish mission by raising funds to grant the wishes of South Carolina children with life-threatening medical conditions. Joined by donors, supporters and friends, a record number of formal attired guests are expected to attend.
This event will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auctions, live entertainment and a seated dinner. In addition, The Wish Ball will feature special guests, eleven-year-old wish kid Emily and six-year-old wish kid Ashton. Both will take the stage to share their stories. Also speaking is wish mom, Denean Rivers who has an amazing story of strength to share. Master of Ceremonies is Mrs. Alicia Barnes of WOLO-TV.
Guests scheduled to attend are prominent community professionals and philanthropists. The evening will provide guests a chance to take part in an elegant evening of charitable giving and to directly make an impact in the lives of local children.
