Registration Open for 14th Edition of the Goodwill Mud Run

GREENVILLE, SC – September 13, 2014 – The Goodwill Mud Run presented by St. Francis Sports Medicine is excited to announce that official registration has opened for its 4th fall event to take place on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at SC-TAC (formerly the old Donaldson Center). Teams of four will run 3.5 miles while navigating 35 unique obstacles in this Marine Corps inspired course.
As in past events, the goal is to make the event an experience for everyone who comes out and in doing so support Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands SC. Whether a participant is male or female, young or old, or an elite or average athlete, this event has something for everyone. There is always excitement and enthusiasm among our great participants.
Completing the Goodwill Mud Run is a source of great pride for participants. One past participant says, “I love this run. My first mud run was the Goodwill Run last year. It made me into a runner and I ended up doing 7 runs last year. I look forward to the Fall run. Keep up the good work Goodwill.” A first-time participant from the spring 2014 event says: “I had a great time as this was my 1st Mud Run! It was very well organized. Loved the Marines yelling to push me harder!”
The funds raised from this event help to further Goodwill’s mission in providing job training and job placement services that assist South Carolina residents in finding employment.
