Registration Open for Laurens YMCA Youth Basketball League: Ages 3-4 and 5-6

At the Laurens YMCA basketball is not just a game; it’s a developmental journey tailored to meet each player where they are and enhance their skills. The league welcomes young athletes at various skill levels, ensuring that whether they are mastering a fast break or taking their initial dribbles, every child plays and progresses at the Y.

The Laurens YMCA Basketball League recognizes the significance of team sports in the growth of children. This program instills essential life lessons such as teamwork, responsibility, and good sportsmanship – values that resonate beyond the court and contribute to the holistic development of young individuals. In fact, organized sports, as highlighted by the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets, are pivotal experiences that play a crucial role in molding well-adjusted adults.

Registration is currently open for two age groups. For ages 3-4 and 5-6, registration opened December 1 and will close on December 31, 2023. The cost for registration is $75 for YMCA members and $90 for non-members.
