Richland One communications team wins 19 State PR awards

The Richland One Office of Communications received 19 awards from the South Carolina Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (SC/NSPRA) for outstanding communications and public relations efforts.

The awards were presented April 26 during SC/NSPRA’s 2024 Rewards for Excellence Luncheon at the Phillips Market Center at the State Farmers Market in West Columbia.

The Richland One Communications team won 17 publications and electronic media awards, including a Best in Show award, and two Golden Achievement awards.

“We are honored to have our work recognized by our peers,” said Karen York, executive director of communications for Richland One. “We are especially proud and appreciative of the opportunities we have every day to help tell the Richland One story, and it is a great story to tell.”
