Roc’s Burgers Celebrates One Year of Flavorful Success

Roc’s Burgers, the brainchild of owners Robert “Roc” and Evie Knight, celebrated its one-year anniversary last week with a heartfelt reflection on the journey of the past year. Located at 28098 Hwy 76 in Clinton, Roc’s Burgers has become a go-to place, serving up delicious, homemade 100% beef burgers that have won over the taste buds of many.
Opening their doors on January 20, 2023, Roc and Evie Knight embarked on an adventure that has seen their customer base grow and their menu expand.
Reflecting on the past year, Roc remarked, “Our first year was definitely full of ups and downs. We really feel honored that we have been accepted into the community, and we want people know that we give God praise and glory for each day. We definitely look forward to being there for our customers for years to come.”
One surprising aspect of their journey, Roc notes, is the preference for processed, flavorless fast-food meat over their homemade 100% beef burgers. However, with each new customer, Roc’s Burgers is changing minds and palates. “The taste of our hamburger meats is undeniably better, and once they have it, they understand,” Roc explained.
Their three most popular items on the menu – a cheeseburger plate, a double bacon cheeseburger, and delicious hot dogs – have become local favorites. All made with 100% fresh ground beef and crafted in small batches to ensure freshness, Roc’s Burgers prides itself on providing an unparalleled dining experience.
In celebration of their one-year anniversary, Roc’s Burgers has introduced the Colossal Burger to the menu – a 1 lb. all-beef burger topped with mayo, mustard, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, three slices of American cheese, and their special sauce. Additional toppings, such as homemade chili and bacon, are available to customize this colossal creation.
The anniversary menu also features new additions like chili cheese fries, made with crispy crinkle-cut French fries and topped with Roc’s homemade beef chili and shredded cheese. Chicken lovers can rejoice as well, with the introduction of a chicken wrap and chicken sandwich – both made with big, crispy, all-white meat chicken strips and fresh ingredients.
Roc and Evie express their joy in serving the Clinton area and surrounding communities with homemade, fresh ingredients. “We hear feedback every day about how good the food is and how pleased people are with the food,” Evie shared. “We really enjoy putting smiles on people’s faces.”
As they look back on the past year, Roc and Evie acknowledge that the success of Roc’s Burgers would not have been possible without their faith. “The past year at Roc’s Burgers has really flown by and would not have been possible without our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Roc stated. “We really appreciate all of our customers who have stood by us with their continued support, and we look forward to serving all of our regular customers and meeting new customers as well.”
