SCDOT to hold public involvement meeting in Calhoun County

February 7, 2024

SCDOT will hold a public involvement meeting on Thursday, February 22, 2024 regarding the proposed intersection improvements to US 21 (Columbia Highway) at SC 6 (Caw Caw Highway)/SC 172 (Bull Swamp Road) in Calhoun County.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024. The meeting will take place at John Ford Community Center located at 304 Agnes Street in St. Matthews. SCDOT representatives will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposed project with members of the community.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes the construction of a roundabout at this location. Roundabouts are designed to reduce the total number, and overall severity of, vehicle-to-vehicle conflict points. Visit the project website for additional information.
