SCDOT to temporarily close part of Wilcox Avenue in Cherokee County as part of I-85 Widening Project

The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close part of Wilcox Avenue in Cherokee County beginning April 29 as part of the I-85 Widening Project. The closure is expected to last two months.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured using Shelby Highway (SC 18) and Pleasant School Road. A map of the detour can be found below. Wilcox Avenue will be open to local traffic only during the closure.
