Southern Twist & Trade Opens in New Location on Laurens Public Square

Southern Trade Outfitters and Southern Twist have combined to create a larger and more comprehensive shopping experience on the Square in Laurens.

Relocating to 109 W. Public Square, Southern Twist and Trade, had a soft opening on August 31.  The store will be closed September 1-5 to complete renovations and stocking of products. They will reopen on September 6 and be fully operational by the 8th.

The new location is approximately 1,500 more square feet that the previous two stores combined, providing the opportunity to expand into more product lines.

“We are excited to re-open in the new location,” said owner Christie Finley. “Our goal is to provide customers with a better shopping experience and we feel that the combining of the stores and the larger space will allow us to do that.”

Before the combining of the two stores, Southern Twist was a staple on the Square for 3.5 years and Southern Trade for 1 year. The new store will continue to carry the best of both stores and expand into additional lines as warranted.  The selection of baby gift items will be increasing and the store will provide baby registry services in addition to their bridal registry option.
