SouthernCarolina Honors South Carolina Power Team

COLUMBIA, SC – May 22, 2008 –  SouthernCarolina Alliance, the economic development alliance representing Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell and Hampton counties, recently named the South Carolina Power Team as a Regional Economic Ambassador for Planning and Development.

The award, presented at SouthernCarolina’s regional celebration event on May 1st, honored the South Carolina Power Team for funding a strategic economic development plan for the SouthernCarolina region.

“We extend our thanks to SouthernCarolina and all its constituents for the award,” said Ralph Thomas, president of the South Carolina Power Team. “We remain committed to fostering economic growth in the region, and plan on assisting SouthernCarolina however we can as they begin to implement their strategic plan.”
