Spirit Communications and the City of Columbia “Light up Main Street with WI-FI”

COLUMBIA, SC – Spirit Communications and the City of Columbia announced today, a joint partnership to bring free public Wi-Fi access to Main Street and Downtown Columbia. Phase one includes the shops and areas on Main Street from Gervais to Washington Street with additional areas being added this summer. Downtown patrons and shoppers can access the Free Wi-Fi by connecting to the Service Set Identifier #SPIRIT4U.

Most recently, Spirit Communications and the City of Columbia announced the naming rights for the City-owned Spirit Communications Park and the return of Professional Baseball to Columbia, SC. Spirit Communications has partnered with the City of Columbia and its many departments and divisions for over 20 years.
