Stewart Owens Announces Candidacy for Clinton City Council Ward 4

Clinton resident and business owner, Stewart Owens, has announced his intent to run for Clinton City Council Ward 4 seat.
Filing opens in late December and the election is March 7, 2023. Ward 4 is currently represented by Gary Kuykendall.
“I have watched with excitement as our town has grown. As a small business owner, I understand the need for new business and development. We need to be a welcoming and helpful community to small business and people who want to move here, said Stewart Owens. “We need to improve and increase the amount of available quality homes, while maintaining our small town charm and way of life. I am proud to announce that I will be running for City Council here in my hometown.”
Owens has lived in Clinton for more than 30 years. He and his wife, Heather, own the Vestibule & Broad Street Antiques.
