Studio 2LR, Inc. Architects and Planners Recognized as a Green Business

COLUMBIA, SC – February 4, 2008 – Studio 2LR, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been named a Green Business Program member by the City of Columbia’s Climate Protection Action Campaign (CPAC) committee.

The City of Columbia Green Business is a voluntary membership program to encourage businesses to take proactive steps that are good for the environment. Studio 2LR participated in the CPAC Green Business Boot Camp at the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, November 29, 2007.  They then developed a Green Business plan and submitted it for review.  Studio 2LR, Inc. received their membership sticker at the City of Columbia Council meeting on Wednesday, January 23, 2008. 

“We felt it was a perfect fit for our company”, said Gretchen Lambert, Vice President, “We feel that everyone benefits from sustainable design, construction, and business operation. It significantly reduces the negative impact of buildings and businesses on the environment.”
