Tanya Camunas appointed as Quality Assurance and Program Evaluator at A Child’s Haven

A Child’s Haven is pleased to announce that Tanya Camunas has been appointed as the Quality Assurance & Program Evaluator.  Prior to A Child’s Haven, she worked at CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) as the Senior Director of Programs and Strategy where her and her colleagues served over 500 abused and neglected children each year.  Tanya specialized in performance measurement, strategic planning and program development.

“Being in a leadership role for several years, I was able to expand my ideas on how organizations function best. I believe in being responsible for the people doing the work and equipping them with the tools to succeed. I’m passionate about creating better systems, tools, and processes for individuals who are on the front lines everyday creating change”

Additionally, Camunas has a background in human services, business economics, and psychology. Her skill set includes working in adoption and foster care, community outreach, case management, volunteer management, training, and fundraising. Tanya will be instrumental in ensuring A Child’s Haven maintenance of national accreditation (CARF), analyzing data, and sharing of performance outcomes.

 

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, A Child’s Haven is a 501(c)(3) organization that treats children with developmental delays as a result of limited resources, abuse, or neglect, and provides support and education for their families.
