The Cliffs welcomes Bo Wood as brand experience manager

The Cliffs announced Bo Wood as brand experience manager. In his new role, Wood is responsible for strategy, planning and marketing around The Cliffs brand, including events, partnerships and public relations initiatives for its seven communities as well as real estate and club membership initiatives.

Wood joins The Cliffs after five years with the Gary Player Group, where he most recently served as director of communications and oversaw the development, planning, and execution of all brands related to World Golf Hall of Famer and nine-time Major champion Gary Player. Wood brings extensive communications and media experience to The Cliffs and has been published in Golf Digest, Golfweek and on Golf.com, among other publications.

“Bo is an important addition to The Cliffs as we work to further elevate our brand, real estate offerings, and the club experience across all seven communities,” said Rob Duckett, president of The Cliffs. “His impressive background in golf and hospitality will allow him to make great contributions to The Cliffs and our members as we plan for future developments and programs.”

Wood is a Greenville native and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the Golf Writers Association of America and Association of Golf Writers.
