The Peace Center Transitioning to a Cashless Experience

April 16, 2024

Effective April 23, 2024, the Peace Center campus in downtown Greenville will undergo a significant change—it will become a completely cashless venue. This means that cash will no longer be accepted for concessions or Box Office ticket sales. Instead, all transactions will require a credit or debit card.

The decision to shift to a cashless system is driven by the Peace Center’s commitment to improving the overall customer experience. By eliminating cash transactions, the aim is to streamline operations, reduce wait times, and provide more efficient service during patrons’ visits to the Peace Center.

Benefits of Going Cashless

The transition to a cashless environment brings several benefits for patrons:

Efficiency: With card payments only, transactions will be quicker and more straightforward, eliminating the need for exact change.

Reduced Wait Times: Whether patrons are dining at Genevieve’s, purchasing refreshments in the lobby, or buying tickets for a performance, going cashless means shorter lines and faster service.

Enhanced Security: Card transactions offer improved security over cash handling, providing peace of mind for both customers and staff.
