The Protocol School of Washington® Announces Staff Additions and Promotion

COLUMBIA, SC — The Protocol School of Washington (PSOW) —the only accredited business etiquette and international protocol school in the country—announces several staff additions and promotions in its corporate offices in Columbia SC.

Lydia DeAngelo has been promoted to Director of Training and Technology where she will oversee the PSOW’s operational standards—collaborating with facilitators on the delivery of quality content as well as researching and investing in technology that enhances the classroom experience both in the US and in international settings. Prior to her new role, DeAngelo was the PSOW’s communications and logistics specialist in addition to her work in education marketing and management. With a global supply operations management degree from the University of South Carolina and the University of Grenoble—France, DeAngelo has worked in Internet marketing, consulting, marketing research and teaching English as a second language.

Susan Landry has been hired as the PSOW’s new student and client services director. In her role, Landry will focus on building relationships with prospective, current and former clients and client organizations in addition to ensuring the PSOW maintains accreditation and licensing requirements with a variety of top-level organizations. A graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a BS degree in Industrial Technology, Landry has a background in design and process engineering along with her educational work in reading development and special education. A self-described “lifelong volunteer,” Landry has also worked with a host of altruistic organizations including Meals on Wheels, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and her church.

Gregory Boyer has been hired as a trainer and project lead/curriculum and systems developer. A professional corporate consultant and curriculum designer, Boyer has worked with such national and international corporations as AT&T, McKesson/HBOC, Baxter Corporation, Lilly Pharmaceuticals, the Gap, SuperCuts, and numerous non-profit organizations. Boyer holds a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems, an MBA in Information Systems, an MA in Organization Development, and a Masters of Science in Public Health and has also taught at various university-level courses in the University of San Francisco’s Information Systems Management program. In addition to his work with the PSOW, Boyer is also president of his own firm TurnAround Partners, LLC, which mobilizes teams of qualified professionals to facilitate corporate tune-ups and turnarounds.
