The Red Pepper Italian Eatery Announces New Chef and Restaurant Improvements

CHARLESTON, SC – October 29, 2008 – The Red Pepper Italian Eatery, located in the Shoppes at Seaside Farms is pleased to announce new Executive Chef, Dominick Gallo.  Gallo comes to Charleston from a prestigious Italian restaurant in New York City.  With this change in chef, The Red Pepper has also made other restaurant improvements.  They have updated the menu, implemented new pricing and hired a live pianist to play Thursday through Sunday evenings.  All menu items are now under $20, and all kids menu items are under $5.  Happy Hour specials include discounted drinks and pizzas from 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily.

This New York-style Italian restaurant has been owned and managed for ten years by Fred White, Executive Chef and Owner, and his wife Donna White. The menu includes classic Italian entrées, an extensive wine list, homemade desserts and “Take n’ Bake” pizzas and calzones. Rated four stars by The Post and Courier’s restaurant reviewer, The Red Pepper features outdoor dining with a view overlooking the water.  Authentic Italian fare such as Bruschetta, Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Bianco, Salciccia, Saltimbocca alla Romana and everyone’s favorite, Spaghetti are all available at new lower prices.
