The Vestibule Coffee and Tea – Serving Much More Than Coffee or Tea

Anyone who has enjoyed a coffee, tea or specialty drink from the Vestibule Coffee and Tea knows that it’s much more than a coffee shop. You might come in for your favorite drink but end up staying for the conversation.

It’s comfortable, cozy and welcoming to all who walk through the doors.

Earlier this year the Vestibule quietly changed hands from the original owner, Isaac Martin to the new owner, Heather Owens.  Owens is no stranger to the coffee shop having worked behind the counter since August 2019.

“I have loved the Vestibule since I first had the “luck O’ the Irish” special in March 2018,” said Owens. “I want to continue to offer the same drinks that our customers enjoy as well as new ones.”

A few changes Owens has planned include sharing the benefits of different tea blends, having more options for coffee rentals as well as renting the space for private after-hours events.  The Vestibule is also open earlier, beginning at 7:00 am.

Owens is a native of Clinton and also the owner of The Willow Branch Yoga Studio.  She has a background in accounting and human resources but found that she wanted and needed something different out of life. Her desire to serve others and help them feel better are perfectly paired with her two businesses.

“The yoga studio is my way of helping people heal mentally and physically and the coffee shop is how I can help to brighten their day by offering them drinks they enjoy, a relaxing environment, and a friendly conversation,” said Owens.

The Vestibule Coffee & Tea is located at 310B East Carolina Avenue in Clinton and is open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.  Follow them on Facebook to learn about new drinks and weekly specials.
