The Voters Have Spoken – Senn Re-elected for Second Term
March 21, 2023It took two times to the polls but the voters in the City of Laurens have spoken.
Mayor Nathan Senn was re-elected in a close race beating his opponent Randy Garrett by 100 votes. Voter turnout for the run-off election was 16%.
“I’m very proud of our town and our positive campaign. I am so grateful for the wonderful people who have supported me in this campaign and who believe in the future of our city,” said Mayor Nathan Senn. “Tonight was a victory for decency and I hope it shows that our town will stand firm against partisan politics and efforts to divide us. I look forward to serving the people of Laurens for the next four years. I am proud to be your mayor and will do my best to make you proud.”
