Three Upstate Collegiates Return To JDPR’s Executive Management Assistance Program

GREENVILLE, SC – February 7, 2011 –  Jeff Dezen Public Relations (JDPR) selected Jenn Atkins, Charlotte Bissell and Drew Dezen to re-join the company’s Executive Management Assistance Program (EMAP). A 14-week internship designed to give college students professional experience in a Public Relations firm, EMAP offers students hands-on exposure to JDPR’s techniques and approach to service clients and work with regional and national media. All three of the current interns have completed a previous EMAP session with the company and are extending their professional development with the firm.

Atkins, a senior at Clemson University, is pursuing a degree in Communications Studies with concentrations in public relations and advertising. Atkins is a returning EMAP student who also interned for the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce.

Bissell is a senior at Furman University, graduating with a degree in Communication Studies. Also a returning EMAP student, Bissell previously interned in the Public Relations Department of SPANX, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga. Dezen is a senior senior studying Communications at Furman University and is also a returning EMAP student.
