Turner Padget adds seasoned commercial real estate and finance lawyers

Turner Padget announces the addition of Sharon Bramlett as a Columbia-based shareholder and Dylan Crowley as an associate, who will divide his time between the firm’s Columbia and Florence offices. Sharon and Dylan serve clients throughout South Carolina in commercial real estate and financing transactions.

Sharon Bramlett

Sharon brings 40 years of experience and a distinguished career in banking and finance, commercial and real estate transactions, and consumer financial services regulation. She represents purchasers, sellers, and lenders in acquiring, selling, and financing a wide range of commercial real estate properties, including manufacturing facilities, medical office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, manufactured housing parks, and others. Her experience extends to all financing transactions, simple to complex, for borrowers or lenders, including asset-based lending, conventional commercial lending, factoring, lines of credit, participations, securitizations, and construction lending. She also advises homeowners’ associations, landlords, and tenants in commercial leasing transactions.

Sharon is widely recognized for her knowledge of financial services regulation law. She advises in-state and out-of-state lenders on compliance with the South Carolina Consumer Protection Code, including licensure and other regulatory matters affecting the lending industry. Sharon serves on the Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit, the advisory board to the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs, which she has chaired since 2007 and has been appointed to by three governors. She is also the former South Carolina Bar Corporate, Banking and Securities Section chair.

SCBiz Magazine recognized Sharon for her leadership in real estate law by selecting her for inclusion in the 2022 Real Estate Attorneys Power List. Best Lawyers in America has named her Lawyer of the Year in Columbia five times for financial services law regulation and honors her annually in real estate, banking and finance, commercial finance law, and financial services regulation law.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Furman University and her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Dylan Crowley

Dylan counsels clients involved in commercial real estate transactions. He advises buyers, sellers, and lenders and serves as local counsel in complex real estate matters. He has experience in construction lending, portfolio sales, and sale and leaseback transactions involving various commercial properties.

Dylan is a member of the Richland County Bar and the South Carolina Bar’s Real Estate, Corporate, and Consumer Law Sections. He is also licensed to practice in the District of Columbia. He has been recognized as a South Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Dylan earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his law degree from the Charleston School of Law.
