United Way of the Piedmont hires Olivia Sloan as new Campaign Director

United Way of the Piedmont welcomed Olivia Sloan to the team as the new Campaign Director. Olivia comes to United Way after a fourteen-year career in local government with a focus on project management and public relations. A graduate of Clemson University, Olivia obtained a degree in Political Science along with a Master’s in Public Administration.

As the Campaign Director, Olivia will be responsible for managing employee-giving campaigns, relationships with corporate partners of United Way, and developing innovative fundraising strategies. Discussing her new role with United Way, Olivia says, “My husband and I are excited to get more involved in the community that we’ve known and loved for years. Following our recent move to the area, I am excited to learn more about the Spartanburg area while sharing the story of United Way of the Piedmont.”
