UofSC ranked No. 1 in U.S. in sport science

The University of South Carolina has the best sport science program in the United States, according to the Global Ranking of Sport Science Schools and Departments.
The ranking, comparing more than 300 universities, recognizes the combined excellence of the Arnold School of Public Health’s exercise science and athletic training programs and the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management’s sport and entertainment management program. This is the fifth consecutive No. 1 ranking for UofSC.
“Our sport science faculty — across both colleges — are among the best in the nation, and our students in the program continue to excel while enrolled at our university and after graduation. This recognition further cements our leadership in the discipline,” said Interim Provost Stephen Cutler.
