WHAT: The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and Center for Women present the sixth annual Women in Business Conference the premier event for women in business. This collaborative conference will assist more than 300 local business women to advance professionally by providing networking opportunities, breakout sessions and two national keynotes speakers.
Sessions include:
Power of Leadership: The key to unlimited opportunities for your career and business starts with Leading in Stilettos – a new book by writer and television personality Nathalie Gregg. Gregg, a leadership and business strategist will share her insight on empowering women leaders, and how to put systems in place that build confidence, skill sets and opportunities for women.
Power of Service: South Carolina ranks 50th in the nation in terms of women elected to our state legislature. If you want to serve your community without the commitment of a political campaign, then state, local boards and commissions are an option you might consider. Find out what’s involved in seeking and serving on governing organizations.
