The Ryan White Part C HIV Care Management Program is a federally funded program that helps coordinate medical care for people living with HIV/AIDS. The program is an early intervention service program designed to help improve the quality and availability of primary healthcare for those with HIV/AIDS.
The Ryan White Wellness Center is a comprehensive HIV clinic. The Center reaches out to the HIV-positive adults of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties to provide access to essential medical care, case management and other supportive services as well as housing and health insurance assistance.
The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act of 2006 is named after a 15 year-old boy who experienced great discrimination because of his HIV status.
The Program provides several services to eligible enrollees in accessing and receiving medical care.
Medical Care, Medications, Dental Care, Mental Health, Pastoral Counseling, Substance Abuse Treatment, Insurance Continuation Services, Clinical Case Management, Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Free HIV Testing, Hope Housing
