Election Day is One Week Away – How Can You Vote?

With just one week until Election Day (November 3rd) voting is already underway by mail-in or absentee ballot.  As of 5:00 pm on Monday, October 26th Lynne West, Director of Voter Registration & Elections for Laurens County reports a larger than usual turnout of early voting with the following:

  • 1922 voting by mail-in ballot
  • 4912 voting in person

In the 2016 general election Laurens County recorded 4430 total absentee ballots.

The deadline has now passed to accept applications for mail-in ballots so they will not be mailing any additional ballots.

Absentee voting is available for in person voting at the historic courthouse in Laurens at 200 Courthouse, Public Square, Laurens. The hours for voting are as follows:

Monday – Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Saturday, October 31st 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

If you choose to vote in person on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd, you will do so at your precinct.  If you are not sure where your precinct votes you can check here for your precinct location.
