Business Analyst
July 2, 2024A Business Analyst is a key member of the Participation Operations team in accounting and servicing roles of the ACBS application on behalf of AgFirst and the district associations. The Analyst’s responsibilities include advanced loan accounting and servicing, complex analysis, data entry, and monitoring and reconciling loan balances to the general ledger. The Analyst supports Participation Operations, other in-bank departments as well as district ACAs, investors, and other outside entities.
What you’ll do
Performs complex transactions to include advances, payments, fixed-rate conversions, and rollovers for various pricing options on the ACBS system.
Maintain efficient accounting and control on complex portfolios of large participated loans from a diverse group of originators.
Ensure the accuracy of transactions by performing in-depth analysis.
Acts as agent for large deals originating in the district and assigned to AgFirst.
Prepares and distributes detailed notices and instructions related to account transactions
Participate in loan closings and renewals acting as user expert and consultant to district and bank personnel.
Ensure the accuracy of transaction details for the originator and bank. Ensure the accuracy of ACBS information keyed by Loan Servicing.
Supports advanced requests or demonstrations surrounding the Bank/ACA’s Participation Portfolio and ACBS
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Technology
Three years of related work experience
Knowledge of database technologies, Microsoft Office programs, and proficiency with various report-writing software
Requires knowledge of accounting, GAAP, Audit, Commercial Lending, Credit, Risk Management, and Funding terminology -as related to customer/loan data and financial instrument servicing requirements
Expertise in working on a project team
Proficient with Report writers such as Crystal or Access
