A Conversation with Tammy Johnson, Owner of Liquid Catering

Diversity.  Entrepreneurship.  Giving Back.  Tammy Johnson is the owner of Liquid Catering which she launched in January 2011.  She is the entrepreneur behind the Old Cigar Warehouse.  She is an active volunteer.  She is a huge advocate for Greenville.

Tammy is originally from Houston Texas, but has lived in Greenville for five years.  She has been working in the hospitality industry for twelve years, holding almost any position  you can think of, from bartender to store manager.   Before opening Liquid Catering, she had four years of bartending experience, providing the mixology background that is needed for beverage catering.  Aside from bartending, she has years of experience in catering, primarily as the Catering Sales Manager for Sticky Fingers Smokehouse.  She has coordinated everything from small private parties, to large  corporate events exceeding 2,500 guests.

Tammy is an active volunteer, serving as the Bar Manager for Euphoria and recently served as the Chair of PULSE, Greenville Chamber’s Young Professionals Group.   She has been recognized as one of Greenville’s Best & Brightest under 35, was a 2013 finalist for Greenville Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year, serves on the City of Greenville’s Accommodations Tax Commission and is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 39.   Most recently she was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Business Black Box magazine.  She is also available for speaking and consulting engagements.
