Berkeley Elementary teacher elected to Palmetto State Teachers Association Board of Directors

MONCKS CORNER, SC – Berkeley Elementary School teacher Stephanie Wallace has been elected to serve as the District One Director on the Board of Directors for the Palmetto State Teachers Association (PSTA).

Each board member is a classroom teacher and volunteers his or her time to participate on the Board. Wallace will serve a two-year term as the District One Director.

“PSTA is the fastest growing teaching association in South Carolina whose efforts continue to play a significant role in establishing education reform while maintaining its top focus, students. I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve with PSTA as it allows me to learn, lead and advocate, in a new capacity, with amazing teacher leaders across our state. Palmetto State Teachers Association is the largest professional education association for teachers in South Carolina. It was founded 39 years ago to give teachers a voice.
