March 20, 2013EASLEY, SC – March 19, 2013 – Best Chevrolet of Easley donated equipment bags, baseball buckets, a practice net, batting tees, lineup card pads, umpire ball bags, 500 pairs of eye black and 150 T-shirts and an additional $500 to Easley Little League Wednesday morning.

We want the young people of our community to have a great summer with Easley Little League, said Pete Mirante, owner of Best Chevrolet of Easley.
The donation is part of Chevrolet’s Youth Baseball program, which is entering its eighth year. Since its introduction, more than three million young people in communities where Chevrolet’s customers live, work and play have been involved. In 2012, about 1,600 Chevrolet dealers participated across the country.
There is nothing more American than Chevrolet and baseball and Best Chevrolet wants to combine America’s favorite brand and favorite pastime together for our families in Easley to enjoy, Mirante said.
Easley Little League offers 22 teams for players ranging from age 4 to 11 plus four district teams. Easley Little League’s season starts with a family cookout on April 12 with games starting on April 13.
