COLUMBIA, SC – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia is proud to welcome a new member to their team. Kayla Anderson has joined the agency as the newest Case Manager. In this role, Kayla will have the opportunity to find mentors for the children they serve, act as a liaison for their matches and support the relationship of Bigs and Littles while ensuring national child safety guidelines.

Kayla attended Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington and obtained her degree in Sociology.  Prior to joining Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kayla taught with Teach for America in Orangeburg County. Kayla is excited to use her experience with children to make a positive impact. “As a teacher I saw a great need with my students. I wanted to fulfill that same need in the community and make a difference in the life of a child, everyday. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia is a perfect fit.”

Welcome aboard Kayla, we know you will make a great impact on the children and families we serve!
