Brew In The Zoo Tickets On Sale Now

GREENVILLE, SC – June 10, 2011 – The Greenville Zoo invites zoo-goers to tap into the wild at the second annual Brew in the Zoo presented by RJ Rockers. The fundraising event is set for Friday, June 10, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and provides adults with the opportunity to sample an assortment of beers and enjoy live music, while exploring the zoo during its after hours.
Brew in Zoo was extremely successful in its first year, completely selling out of tickets, said Greenville Zoo Director Jeff Bullock. The event provides a great opportunity to come to the zoo and experience a completely a different atmosphere.
Guests will receive a small souvenir tasting mug to use in sampling an assortment of beers provided by RJ Rockers, Sweetwater, Thomas Creek, Abita Brewing Company, Skull Coast Ale and much more. The event will also feature live musical entertainment and a variety of food from Sticky Fingers and Iced Cupcakes.
Admission to Brew in the Zoo is $25 in advance at the Greenville Zoo or local BI-LO grocery stores or $30 the day of the event. VIP tickets are $50 and will provide access to an exclusive VIP area. Proceeds from Brew in the Zoo will help support various programs throughout the zoo including animal enrichment and exhibit renovations.
Brew in the Zoo is open to adults 21 years old and older, and a photo ID will be required to enter. There is no limit on the number of samples of beer provided to guests, but responsible drinking is encouraged. Brew in the Zoo will take place rain or shine.
