Brookgreen is Chillin’ and Grillin’ on July 4
June 29, 2012MURRELLS INLET, SC – Celebrate the week of July Fourth at Brookgreen when the gardens are open until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings for Cool Summer Evenings.
Wednesday July 4 Grasstowne – Concert starts at 6 p.m. Cookout at 4:30 p.m. In celebration of the July 4th holiday, enjoy a special two-hour concert that starts at 6 p.m. and a cookout at Pavilion Restaurant Patio that starts at 4:30 p.m..
Grasstowne is one of the hottest and most energetic bluegrass bands touring today. The band’s first two projects The Road Headin’ Home and The Other Side of Towne went to Number One and Number Two respectively on the National Bluegrass Charts. The Road Headin’ Home remained at Number One for three months and also won the 2008 Album of the Year award.
Their latest project Kickin’ Up Dust is currently rising in the top five on the singles and CD chart. The concert is free with garden admission which is good for seven days.
