If your kids like Ranch dressing, try this crispy coleslaw with sweet apples and crunchy almonds for a sweet and salty sensation.
1 package shredded coleslaw
1/4 cup Light Ranch dressing
2 Tbsp. light mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 red apple, washed and chopped (skin on)
1/4 cup almond slivers or pieces
Empty coleslaw into a large bowl.
Mix Ranch dressing, mayo, sugar, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Pour over coleslaw and refrigerate for at least one hour.
When ready to serve, chop a red apple (sprinkled with lemon juice to keep from browning) and top salad with apple and almond pieces. Serve immediately.
