Callison Tighe listed in 2017 edition of Best Law Firms in America

Callison Tighe & Robinson is listed as a top-tier firm in the just-released 2017 edition of Best Law Firms in America in two practice areas each in employment law and real estate law.
This marks the seventh consecutive year Callison Tighe has earned Tier 1 rankings for the Columbia metropolitan area in employment law and the fourth time it has ranked in Tier 1 for real estate law. The firm also placed in Tier 1 for litigation – labor and employment – for the fifth consecutive year and for litigation – real estate – for the third consecutive year.
Callison Tighe was also honored for its attorneys’ work in bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law, litigation – ERISA and employment law – management and mediation.
Callison Tighe has been highlighted in every edition of Best Law Firms in America since the publication’s inception in 2010.

In order to be eligible for Best Law Firms, a firm had to have at least one attorney rated highly in Best Lawyers in America. Nine Callison Tighe attorneys – Tighe, Ralph C. Robinson Jr., Nekki Shutt, Andrew “Drew” English III, M. Malissa Burnette, Sherwood M. “Woody” Cleveland, Louis Lang and D. Reece Williams and Demetri “Jim” Koutrakos – are included in the 2016 edition of that publication.
Three of the attorneys – Tighe, Shutt and Lang – received Lawyer of the Year honors in the Columbia metropolitan area.
Final inclusion in Best Law Firms in America is based on questionnaires sent to lawyers in the same practice area in the same metropolitan area. That data, along with client input, are analyzed to determine final rankings.
