Cayce‐West Columbia Jaycees Hall of Horrors
October 15, 2012CAYCE, SC – For more than 30 years, the Cayce‐West Columbia Jaycees have produced the Hall of Horrors ‐ one of South Carolina’s longest running haunted attractions. Eachyear, the twisted minds that bring you the Hall of Horrors construct anall‐new terrifying experience. This year is no exception.
Thousands ofvisitors carefully venture into the dark and sinister halls each year to help the Jaycees raise thousands of dollars to support Camp Hope, theSC Jaycees’ summer camp for mentally challenged individuals, as well asnumerous other charities. Unspeakable horrors await those who dare tojourney into the unknown.
But those fortunate souls that escape willbreathe a sigh of relief knowing their bravery helped support so manywonderful causes. The Hall of Horrors operates at the Cayce‐WestColumbia Jaycee Hut located at 1153 Walter Price Street in Cayce.Details are below.

The Cayce-West Columbia Jaycees have been a significant force in the Midlands for more than 50 years.The CWC Jaycees work on fundraising projects and organize communityevents throughout the calendar year to benefit many causes important tothe members of the chapter and the surrounding communities. The Jaycees also commit to acts of community service such asplaying bingo with residents of Jenni-Lynn Senior Living and cleaning up litter for the Adopt-a-Highway program along Highway #1 in WestColumbia.
About SC Jaycee Camp Hope
Jaycee Camp Hope is a statewide residential camp for children and adults withdevelopmental disabilities sponsored by the South Carolina JuniorChamber of Commerce (Jaycees). The camp offers individuals and familiesunique and entertaining opportunities near beautiful Lake Hartwell inPendleton, SC. Camp Hope also serves families by giving parents andcaregivers a rest while their camper is at camp. Campers developindependence through daily camp programs such as canoeing, crafts,overnight camping, archery, swimming, and other activities. Chaptersfrom across the state hold fundraisers to help maintain the camp and toprovide scholarships to offset the cost of camp for families.
