Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce announces new position and promotion appointments

Two new professionals recently joined the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce team and a high performing staff member received a promotion.

 

Adrian B. Cain: Senior Vice President, Membership and Development

Adrian Cain serves as the Chamber’s Senior Vice President of Membership and Development. Within his role, Cain is responsible for leading the Chamber’s efforts in securing and retaining business members to facilitate the Chamber’s mission of advancing our region’s economy and enhancing our members’ success.
Cain received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Marshall University and a master’s in public administration from Carnegie Mellon University. Cain resides in Downtown Charleston with his wife, daughter and bulldog puppy. In his free time, he runs a nationally competitive sailboat racing team.

 

 

Lena Holmes: Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Manager

As the Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Manager, Lena Holmes ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers. Holmes is also responsible for maintaining accurate reporting and manages collection activities.

New to the Charleston region, Holmes is originally from Mount Vernon, NY. Holmes received a master’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland. She currently resides in Green Pond with her husband and two children.

 

 

Dustin Istnick: Creative Director

Dustin Istnick, who has worked for the Chamber for more than six years, was recently promoted to Creative Director. Within his role, Istnick is responsible for brand development and enhancement as well as strategic development of visual elements in order to bring the work of the Chamber to life in engaging formats.

Originally from Massillon, Ohio, Istnick resides in Park Circle with his daughter. Istnick received a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from Miami University and a Bachelor of Fine Art in graphic design from the Art Institute of Charleston.
