City’s free outdoor series to temporarily relocate to Falls Park
April 18, 2012GREENVILLE, SC – April 18, 2012 – The City of Greenville’s popular Fidelity Investments Moonlight Movies return Wednesday, May 2, with a new location in Falls Park. The temporary venue change is a result of the construction at The Peace Center Amphitheatre.
The free film series will run for five weeks and feature movies from a wide range of genres and periods, including The Muppet Movie, An American in Paris, Angels in the Outfield and a special Viewer’s Choice.
“In conjunction with the City of Greenville, we are very excited to once again sponsor the Moonlight Movies outdoor classic film series,” said Mike Doucette, vice president and branch manager, Fidelity Investments. “We’ve got some great movies lined up for both the May and September blocks, so please join us for some great family fun under the moonlight!”
The films begin at sundown (approximately 8:30 p.m.), but moviegoers are invited to come early, bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic. All City special events are smoke-free, and pets are not permitted within the event site. Individuals consuming alcohol at the event must purchase a $1 wristband.
