Colliers International welcomes major retailers to Killian’s Crossing

South Carolina’s first Kroger Marketplace breaks ground in lifestyle center, alongside other popular chains.
COLUMBIA, SC – Colliers International announces the groundbreaking of South Carolina’s first Kroger Marketplace. The store is one of the first major retailers to begin development at Killian’s Crossings, Northeast Columbia’s new lifestyle village. The new Kroger Marketplace will offer bed and bath selections, baby goods, a jewelry counter, home fashion and more, in addition to its fresh foods. It will also offer Kroger Fuel, making it truly a one-stop shopping destination.
Other tenants, such as Chick-Fil-A, Applebee’s, McDonald’s and Panda Express, have also committed to Killian’s Crossing. Due to Northeast Columbia’s growing popularity and the strength of the retailers already committed to the center, the Colliers team anticipates attracting further major retailers to the remaining shop spaces and outparcels.
Killian’s Crossing offers 400 acres of retail, residential and commercial space located at I-77 and Killian Road in Northeast Columbia. Plans for the shopping center include major national retailers, boutiques, restaurants, hotels, apartments and a movie theater.
Northeast Columbia has experienced significant growth in recent years due to high quality schools, a number of single- and multi-family residential neighborhoods and proximity to the interstate system, all of which has made the area incredibly desirable for retailers. With its key position near the I-77, Killian’s
Crossing is set to be a strong retail center for both the growing Northeast Columbia communities and the city’s downtown population.
