Councilwoman Corley Graduates from Elected Officials Institute of Government

CAYCE, SC – The City of Cayce announced the graduation oCouncilwoman Eva Corley from the Municipal Association of South Carolina’s (MASC) Elected Officials Institute of Government.

The Institute is designed to give elected officials an overview and understanding of how to establish good public policy in their respective hometowns. The program includes in-person and online sessions where participants take part in a variety of courses and activities to help improve their knowledge of shaping public policy.

Corley was the second youngest candidate to ever run for office in South Carolina and the second youngest ever elected to council. Corley spent four years working as a Pediatric Operating Room Nurse until she transferred to Palmetto Health’s Corporate Supply Chain. She serves the citizens of Cayce Council District 3 and serves on the Cayce Public Safety Foundation Board.

MASC, founded in 1939, serves the state’s municipalities and provides services, programs and tools for municipal officials to aid in the operation of their respective cities and towns.
