CresCom Bank’s David Morrow Appointed to Clemson University Board of Visitors

CHARLESTON, SC – David Morrow, the president and CEO of CresCom Bank, has been appointed to the Clemson University Board of Visitors. Morrow is a 1972 graduate of Clemson University and has more than 40 years of experience in banking and financial institution management in South Carolina.

Morrow also serves as the executive vice president of Carolina Financial Corporation. He is currently a member of the board of directors for the South Carolina Museum Foundation, a member of the board of advisors of the Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC, a member of the board of directors for the S.C. Bankers Association (SCBA) and has previously served on the board of Clemson University’s Professional Advancement and Continuing Education (PACE) program.

“It is an honor and privilege to serve alongside my fellow alumni on the Clemson University Board of Visitors,” said Morrow. “The university and its students mean a great deal to me, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to represent them and continue giving back to a school that has made an immense impact on my life.”

Morrow was nominated for the honor of serving on the Clemson University Board of Visitors by the university’s Board of Trustees and was appointed by the President for a three-year term of service.

The Board of Visitors serves as a volunteer advisory body charged with being goodwill ambassadors for Clemson University to the citizens of South Carolina, the nation and the world. Members attend periodic on-campus meetings to learn about the University and give feedback to the campus from their respective communities.
