Longstanding community landmark joining the vibrant and growing downtown corridor

cromers-logo-fb_blogCromer’s P-Nuts, a staple in the Columbia community, has purchased a 12,600-square-foot building in the trendy North Main area to serve as their new retail storefront and distribution facility. Cromer’s becomes the biggest name to join the North Main area, which has seen a sharp increase in interest and development in recent years.

“Cromer’s is very excited to move to the vibrant North Main Street corridor,” said Carolette Cromer Turner, President of Cromer’s. “Throughout our history, Cromer’s has always been a key part of Columbia’s downtown growth and development, and the move to North Main keeps us firmly planted in our community.”

Cromer’s plans to use the facility to produce and distribute its core products: P-Nuts, popcorn and cotton candy. It will also have a retail store for on-site sales.

Cromer’s turned to Colliers International for assistance in finding a new site. After an extensive search, Rox Pollard, Sam Myers and Danny Bonds represented Cromer’s in the purchase of 3036 Main Street, consisting of a 12,600-square-foot building situated on 1.1 acres.

“Cromer’s came to us with the challenge of locating a property to serve as a manufacturing, distribution and retail facility while staying in a high-profile location in the city, and this North Main location is the perfect solution,” said Pollard, Vice President of Colliers South Carolina and Director of the Retail Services Team. “Cromer’s announcement is more positive news for downtown Columbia’s growth and expansion.”

Pollard and Bonds are members of Colliers’ Retail Services Team and specialize in the sale, leasing and development consultation of retail properties throughout South Carolina. Myers is a member of the Colliers industrial brokerage team in central South Carolina, specializing in the leasing, user sales and investment sales of industrial properties.
