Cru Café promotes Erin Guilfoyle to Chef De Cuisine

Cru Café and Catering announces the promotion of chef Erin Guilfoyle to Chef De Cuisine at Cru Café located at 18 Pinckney Street in Charleston. Chef Guilfoyle joined Cru Café and Catering in 2007. She has worked in the Cru kitchen as lead line cook, catering tasting chef and catering sous chef before her recent promotion to Chef de Cuisine of Charleston’s hidden gem, Cru Café.

Chef Guilfoyle, lovingly known as ‘Chef E’ amongst Cru Café regulars and staff, has developed her craft during the past nine years at Cru Café & Catering under Executive Chef and owner John Zucker; as well as amongst other culinary talents from more than 20 outside restaurants around the nation where she worked as prep cook, sous chef, consultant and restaurant stagiaire.

“Erin’s experience, artistic eye and immaculate sense of taste has been a true asset to Cru for almost ten years now. This opportunity allows her to continue to grow within the Cru family.
