CUICAR & SCTAC to Host International Electric Vehicle Conference

March 4-8 in Greenville, South Carolina

GREENVILLE, SC – The Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CUICAR) and SCTAC will host the IEEE International Electric Vehicle Conference (IEVC ) March 4-8 in Greenville, South Carolina. The conference will feature several keynote speakers, workshops and technical tours. The SCTAC tour will provide the opportunity to drive electrical vehicles (EVs) both in a controlled environment as well as on public roads.

 

SCTAC’s test track will be used for the EV tours as this is the future location for new vehicle and infrastructure technologies to be developed through a partnership between SCTAC and CUICAR.

 

Keynote speakers and panel leaders include executives and leading experts from BMW, Bosch, Chrysler, Delphi, Duke Energy, EDTA, GE, FedEx, KEMET, MBTech, SAE, Valeo, Volkswagen and the US Department of Energy.

 

The first IEEE IEVC will facilitate the exchange of information on new global trends in technology, engineering, standards and deployment aspects among academic and industrial thought leaders of the fast-growing electric mobility ecosystem via a unique cross-organizational platform.

 

IEVC is an international venue for those with an interest in the transformation of the transportation industry via electrification, including electrical vehicle designers, component and infrastructure system developers, manufacturers, utility experts, corporate executives, technical analysts, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, legislators, regulators and standardization experts.
