David Lockwood appointed Chief Operating Officer of Colliers International South Carolina

David C. Lockwood III, SIOR, CCIM, Executive Vice President of Colliers International South Carolina, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Lockwood has been associated with Colliers for almost 30 years and is responsible for the Columbia, SC office’s brokerage operations. He also leads the company’s statewide Research, Marketing and Technology departments.
Lockwood is a 1984 graduate of Clemson University and numerous commercial real estate educational programs. He serves as a Commissioner to the South Carolina Real Estate Commission representing the 2nd Congressional District. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Engenuity SC and is on the Columbia Business Friendly Task Force Implementation Team. He is a past member of the boards of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Friends of Juvenile Justice and Sandhills School. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Columbia City Center Partnership.
Lockwood’s service to the real estate industry is broad, including serving as the past President of the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association (CCRA) and the South Carolina REALTORS® Association (SCRA), as well as Chairman of the Carolinas Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR). He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
Lockwood has been recognized on numerous occasions for his service to the industry, including as the REALTOR of the Year by the CCRA and the SCRA.
