Deck the Halls and Fill The Wine Racks at Irvin-House Vineyards’ Holiday Open Houses

WADMALAW ISLAND, SC – November 19, 2012 – With the hustleand bustle of the holiday season upon us, many are thinking of ways toentertain family and friends during the holidays. Escape to Charleston’s only winery, Irvin-House Vineyards for two Holiday Open Houses onSaturday, December 8 and Saturday, December 15 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island. 

Each festive event will have local vendors selling delightfulseasonal gifts, wine and Firefly tastings, food, music and stockingsfull of fun. Shoppers over the age of 21 will receive a complimentaryglass of homemade, hot mulled wine. While shopping, guests can enjoy the musical sounds of De Gullah Singers and The Plantation Singers andenjoy the tastes of Stono Cafe. If you’re in need of the perfect gift,the Firefly Distillery and Irvin-House Vineyard will have craftedLowcountry gift sets of all sizes for purchase and shoppers can createtheir own gift baskets with a variety of gift ideas includingIrvin-House Vineyards’ variety of wine, Firefly’s newest line, SouthernAccents liqueurs along with Firefly Sweet Tea spirits and Sea IslandRums.

Regular hours at the vineyard are Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please check our website for information on special holiday hours and closings.
