GREENVILLE, SC – November 30, 2011 – DNA Creative Communications (DNA) is now welcoming applications for its 2012 LIVE HERE GIVE HERE (LHGH) program. Through the program, DNA donates its in-house services for one year to a local nonprofit to assist and strengthen the organization’s communications campaign. Moreover, DNA encourages sustainability and provides mentorship by helping identify cost-effective strategies that will make the nonprofit more proficient in carrying out its cause.
LIVE HERE GIVE HERE reflects DNA’s intent to support the community that has helped it thrive. It’s a way for DNA to use its expertise in branding, public relations, e-communications and design to help make a difference for nonprofit organizations in the Upstate. DNA created the program in 2009 as a strategy to make pro bono contributions more effective through annual planning, rather than intermittent pieces. LIVE HERE GIVE HERE complements DNA’s other nonprofit program entitled Shine the Light on Your Nonprofit which offers a series of hands-on communications workshop to area nonprofits.
Nonprofits can apply for the 2012 LIVE HERE GIVE HERE program online by visiting DNA’s website, www.dnacc.com. The deadline for applications is December 30, 2011.
DNA’s 2011 LIVE HERE GIVE HERE recipient was the Cancer Society of Grenville County (CSGC), a nonprofit that works to provide full-service assistance to local cancer patients and their families in the Upstate, as well as cancer awareness and prevention programs to the public. Donated services by DNA were focused on solidifying the organization’s brand through a number of marketing pieces, from their quarterly newsletter to their annual Hope Ball Save the Date cards and program. The DNA team also implemented a social media plan to enable CSGC to spread awareness of their cause and events more effectively and efficiently. Previous years’ recipients include Public Education Partners Greenville County and the American Heart Association of the Upstate.
